Vintage Jonah Kumalae Hawaii Ukulele Needs Some Work

This auction is for a VINTAGE JONAH KUMALAE HAWAII UKULELE - NEEDS SOME WORK.  The label inside reads:  Jonah Kumalae Manufactuer of Ukuleles, awarded Gold Medal for Ukuleles and Tara Patches at P.P.I. Exposition.  Kumalae Hawaii _one 2784, 1719 Liliha St. Honolulu.   I was told about this uke that it is KOA wood and it was made around 1915-1930′s, made in Hawaii.  There are 12 frets.  Has a real rich, loud sound to it.  There is stencil on front of headstock which is almost off and can’t read(see photo).  Below the bridge is stamped the letter B.  Looks like the bridge was reglued on too.  There are 3 cracks in the wood in front, all below the bridge and 4 cracks on the back (see photos).  Has a decorative inlay around the sound hole.  It measures aprox. 21″ long X 6″ at widest X 2 1/4″ thick.  See pictures for more description.  Email if you have questions before the auction ends.  NO RESERVE.  Low starting price.

Payment is due within 5 days after auction ends.  There is a $4.00 (US) and $6.00 (International) handling fee already added to the shipping charge to help cover insurance cost.
